Welcome to Relay Radio. These Terms of Use explain the basic rules for using Relay-Radio.com, its radio streams, listener features, community tools, recorded Past Shows, and related station services. By using Relay Radio, you agree to use the site and its features responsibly and in accordance with applicable law.

Using Relay Radio

Relay Radio is an online radio and community service. Features may include live and automated radio streams, DJ pages, song requests and dedications, listener accounts, Past Shows, contests, polls, birthdays, shoutouts, voice clips, newsletters, Web Push alerts, and other station or community features.

Relay may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for station operations, maintenance, security, licensing, or other operational needs.

Listener and Staff Accounts

If you create or use an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in information secure and for activity performed through that account. Do not impersonate another person, misuse another person's account, or attempt to gain access to staff or administrative areas you are not authorized to use.

Relay may restrict, suspend, or remove access to an account or feature when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security issues, violations of these Terms, or misuse of station services. Staff and DJ access may also be subject to additional station rules and responsibilities.

Requests, Dedications, Voice Clips, and Other Submissions

When you submit a song request, dedication, nickname, voice clip, birthday, shoutout, contest entry, poll response, Buzzies nomination or vote, comment, application, or other material, you are responsible for what you submit.

Do not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, defamatory, intentionally deceptive, invasive of another person's privacy, infringing of another person's rights, malicious, spam, or intended to disrupt or damage Relay Radio or another service.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information about yourself or another person through public, community, or on-air features.

Relay and its DJs may decline, remove, moderate, shorten, or choose not to use a submission. Submitting a request or dedication does not guarantee that a song will be played or that a message will be read on air.

On-Air Use and Archived Shows

Relay Radio is a live broadcast service. By intentionally submitting material for a request, dedication, shoutout, voice clip, or similar on-air feature, you give Relay permission to use that submission as reasonably necessary for the station feature you selected, including reading, playing, displaying, or discussing it on air.

Live DJ broadcasts may be retained as recorded Past Shows. A submission used during a live show may therefore remain audible or otherwise present in an archived broadcast after the original show ends.

You keep any rights you already have in material you submit. Your submission gives Relay a non-exclusive permission to use, store, reproduce, display, or broadcast that material only as reasonably needed to operate, promote, moderate, document, or archive the Relay Radio service and the feature through which it was submitted.

Music, Recordings, and Site Content

Music, album artwork, videos, trademarks, logos, photographs, recordings, and other third-party material remain the property of their respective owners and may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other laws. Access to Relay Radio does not give you ownership of that material or permission to copy, download, redistribute, rebroadcast, sell, or commercially use it except where the applicable rights holder or law allows.

Relay's own site design, station branding, graphics, written material, and original content may not be copied or used in a misleading or unauthorized manner.

Copyright and Content Concerns

If you believe material appearing on Relay Radio infringes your copyright or other rights, contact station management at managers@relay-radio.com and identify the material, where it appears, and the nature of your concern. Relay will review good-faith content concerns and take appropriate action where warranted.

Contests, Polls, and Promotions

Individual contests, giveaways, votes, or promotions may include additional rules or eligibility requirements. Those specific rules apply in addition to these Terms. Relay may reject duplicate, automated, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise invalid entries or votes.

Donations and Support

Any donation or voluntary financial support made through a third-party payment provider is voluntary and does not purchase editorial influence, guaranteed requests, DJ access, prizes, or special treatment unless Relay clearly states otherwise for a specific feature or promotion. Payment processing is handled by the applicable third-party provider under its own terms and policies.

Third-Party Services and Links

Relay may link to or use services operated by other companies, including services used for streaming, analytics, newsletters, video, artwork, donations, lyrics, or other station features. Relay does not control those outside services, and their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them.

Availability and Technical Issues

Relay works to keep the website and streams available, but uninterrupted or error-free service cannot be guaranteed. Streams, archived shows, requests, alerts, account features, or other services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, Internet conditions, provider outages, licensing or operational requirements, or technical problems.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Responsibility

Relay Radio and its website are provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Relay does not make guarantees about uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy or availability of third-party information and services.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Relay is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the site, streams, archived shows, third-party links, or community features. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited or waived.

Privacy

Relay's handling of personal information and browser storage is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie & Storage Policy. Those policies should be read together with these Terms when you use features that provide information to Relay or store information in your browser.

Changes to These Terms

Relay may update these Terms when station features, legal requirements, or operating practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with its last-updated date. Changes apply from the posted update date, subject to applicable law. If a change requires additional notice or consent, Relay will provide it when required.
